It’s hard to believe summer is almost over, and we are fast approaching the fall months! It’s been an interesting, but productive year for us here. In June, we had to say good-bye to one of our beloved dogs, Mario. This inspired us to start giving a portion of our sales to local shelters. We’ve funded three adoptions so far this summer! Two of those were with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
This also gave us the idea to create a pet memorial wildflower seed pack! You can plant a bed of wildflowers in honor of your own beloved pet, or you can buy a pack to give to a friend who may have lost a pet.
Packets are just $4 each and a portion of each sale goes toward the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. You can pick up a pack at Under the Yellow Umbrella in historic St. Charles, Missouri at 335 N. Main Street. If you are out of state, feel free to reach out to us. We don’t currently sell online, but we are happy to make special arrangements and ship to you.
